"I Ain't Gonna Write A Love Song" - Original Song

One of my FIRST two original songs published under my band name, Worship REWIND!

As a single Christian who was not granted the 'gift of singleness' to go with it, the loneliness and needs had become so painful and oppressive to me, that I couldn't stand listening to love songs, even by my favorite bands. I know I'm not alone in these feelings, and other Christians (especially those who are already married) tend to miss the empathy when they try to address it. All you often hear is 'Jesus is all you need!' but we are also called to reach out and comfort the lonely and despondent ourselves. So I wrote a song about it.

And by the way... even if I do get married, I'm still not going to write a love song, because I know there will always be others who are still left behind and feel the same way that I do right now.
