Build-A-Ship was my most famous dream in my early years. Being obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean, I took the concept of a "Build-A-Home" and made my own with customizable Pirate Ships!

Players can "Buy" a pirate ship, change the floors, and choose from hundreds of items to decorate it!

This dream is not strict RP, nor requiring you to be "realistic". Sparkledogs are welcome!

Drama is inevitable. Please remember that the dream owner/staff are not responsible for policing personal drama between players.

Consider avoiding political conversations. We aim to be an escape from the brutal real world.

Harassment of staff or others in the dream is grounds for banishment. If you are being harrassed by another player, you can also report it to Furcadia staff. Don't forget the Silence Rule!

Repeatedly breaking these rules will result in Ejection or even Banishment from the dream.

DREAM COMMANDS

TELEPORTS - to easily get around the dream.

Saying any number from 1-20 will take you to that ship.

GAMES - Get some players together and ask staff to begin the game for you.

MUSIC - Play one of the dream's music tracks to yourself. (NOTE: many of these files are .wma which will not play correctly in the Web Client)

SHIP COMMANDS - Change the settings of the ship you own.

!NameShip [newname] - Anything you type after !NameShip will become your ship's name. You can change this at any time.
!ShareShip [furrename] - Say !ShareShip and then a player's name, and that furre will be granted full access to your ship, including decorating privileges. The chosen player cannot already own their own ship.
!OpenShip, !CloseShip - Allow ANYONE to enter your ship. This does not give them decorating privileges.
!NewOwner furrename - Completely transfers ownership of your ship to another furre and it is abandoned to your name, without clearing the ship's decorations or settings. You will now be able to buy a new ship.
!AbandonShip - Your ship is completely reset and put up for sale.
!MyShip - View your ship's settings: Number, Ship Name, and whether you have opened to visitors.

Build-A-Ship was featured in Dream Day on March 8th!
Apparently for all this time, the auto ship-clear has been erasing the stairs on the top decks of the ships. That is fixed now.

Freshened up the Park, and now it has better lighting at night.

FEB 12, 2025

Players now have the option to "Open" their ship to let anyone enter! Now if you want to show off your ship, it's not limited to people you "share" with. Rest assured, non-shared players who enter during "Open" mode will not be able to pick up items or modify your ship.
Brought back the Race game from the original dream!
Brought back the Musical Chairs game from the original dream!
Added some piratey gold to the items!

Now you can go to the back deck of the ships. You couldn't before.
Automatic ship buying with Cookies
Automatic security (nobody can enter ships unless allowed) and ability to share with others.
Copy floors and items with Buttons
Removed Pub, added bar attached to the desk
Scrapped games and battle system
